The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Passed Away in an LA Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, the mind behind the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.
The celebrated video game developer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a motorway in LA on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts said.
